My advice is to use your heat treated Citrineas you would any Citrine, and know that it has the advantage of carrying some of the energy of an Amethyst. Yellow is about instinct, mood and the positive strength of the Sun. Citrineis Yellow and connects with the Solar Plexus Chakra that has more of an earthy/grounding vibration. Amethyst is purple so it connects to the Crown and Third Eye Chakras and purple is a color associated with intuition and mental/psychic abilities like imagination and dreams. Often with crystals from the same family it can be the color of the crystal that suggests their healing properties. Amethyst and Citrine are both high vibrational quartz crystals with very similar properties and healing qualities.
